Mini Lewis in Box with Chess Board. Replica chess pieces of the originals which were discovered on the Isle of Lewis off the West Coast of Scotland and which are now housed safely and securely in the British Museum of London and in Edinburgh. Many pieces were discovered and this is a good interpretation, though slightly smaller, of the complete Isle of Lewis chess set. This SAC design closely follows the original pieces. Height of King 2 1/2” (57mm). The chessboard is faithful to the style of the pieces. |

Isle of Lewis Chess Set, 2 1/2 inch King, with Board
This product is sold as a
complete chess set, comprising both chess pieces and board.
The board supplied is SAC's matching board (code
H812) made from polyurethane. The board dimension is
27.5cm square, and the square size is 1" (25mm).
